Kybella

Kybella is an injectable treatment designed to permanently reduce localized fat beneath the chin, a concern medically known as submental fullness. It may also be used to address areas such as jowls and bra bulge—regions that are often resistant to diet and exercise alone.

Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, a substance naturally produced by the body to break down dietary fat. When strategically injected, it disrupts fat cells in the treated area, which are then gradually eliminated through the body’s natural metabolic processes.

Temporary swelling, redness, and soreness are common following treatment, with the degree of response varying between individuals. For optimal results, a series of 2–4 treatments spaced several weeks apart is typically recommended.
