Filler Dissolve

Hyaluronidase (Hylenex) is an enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers when adjustment or removal is needed. This treatment may be recommended to address overcorrection, asymmetry, migration, or to refine results from a prior filler treatment.

At Tēo, filler dissolution is approached with the same precision and restraint as any injectable service. When appropriate, ultrasound imaging may be used to help assess the location and depth of existing filler, allowing for a more targeted and conservative approach to treatment. This added layer of assessment supports accuracy, safety, and thoughtful planning.

The procedure is typically quick, with minimal downtime. Temporary swelling or tenderness may occur, and results are often noticeable within hours to days. In some cases, more than one session may be recommended depending on the amount and location of filler present.
